摘要： 近年来，随着口蹄疫等疾病通过国内国际贸易活动快速传播，人们开始重视家畜跨境贸易中的安全性检查和个体溯源。同时，随着生物识别技术的发展，虹膜识别的应用逐渐成熟。本文简要介绍了虹膜识别技术及其在身份认证方面的应用现状，将虹膜识别引入家畜个体溯源中，在跨境贸易的背景下，以虹膜数据库为中心，构建了贯穿供应链的家畜个体溯源系统，并进一步分析了系统的优势和面临的问题。

Abstract： In recent years, diseases like foot-and-mouth disease are spreading quickly through internal and external business, which have attracted people’s attention to the security check and individual traceability of livestock in cross-boundary trade. Meanwhile, as the Biological Identity Technology develops, the application of iris as identity is getting maturity. This paper briefly introduced iris recognition technology and its application status in identity authentication，then applies iris recognition to the individual traceability of livestock. In the context of cross-boundary trade, an individual traceability system is built throughout the supply chain, which regards iris database as the center. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the system’s strengths and the faced problems.
